Hey girls! I am back!
Yes, it feels like a while…. I’ve had a lot on my plate including a very needed vacay. Yo girl has been stressed.
On May 5th I went on a 7 day cruise aboard the MSC Seaside. It was my first time going on this cruise line. It was just me and my friend Yanessy going on the trip…. let’s just say…… we were the only single girls on that ship. Everyone was either retired, with their partner or with their family. So if you are looking for a “Lit” cruise, this is not for you. Don’t get me wrong though, the ship was beautiful and food was delicious, but it’s more of a ship to go on and relax.. and be boujee. And that’s exactly what I did since I had no other choice lol. I’ll probably go on it again…….. when I retire lmao.
The ship went to 4 places: Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Nassau Bahamas.
In Jamaica we visited the Dunn’s River Fall. It was really cool and beautiful, but extremely dangerous! One wrong step and you are either rolling down the dunns or ending up in the hospital with a broken foot. Believe me… I saw it happen, leg scratched up to the bone. I wish I would have been able to enjoy more of Jamaica but the weather was horrible. I shall visit again one day.
In Grand Cayman we visited the 7 mile beach. I was fooled…. looked much nicer in pictures online. I kinda blame the weather though because it wasn’t so nice out. It was a nice little island overall. Didn’t get to explore much honestly. Another place I need to visit again lol.
In Cozumel we went to a beach/water park called “Playa Mia” . It was cute and very convenient. Chairs were provided with the entrance fee, along with some water sports. So we just spent most of the time there. I’m scared of Mexico, didn’t want to wander off and explore.
In Nassau we went to a public beach. The water was beautiful and the day was really sunny. We spent the day at the beach and then visited Señor Frogs before heading back to the ship.
Nice little getaway overall!
I put together a blog to share a glimpse of my trip with you guys.
